Help and Safety

Comforting.ai provides general wellbeing audio, not emergency response, diagnosis, therapy, or individualized medical advice.

Immediate danger or crisis

If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the local emergency number where you are now. Comforting.ai cannot receive, monitor, or respond to emergency messages.

For crisis or emotional support, the International Association for Suicide Prevention links to Find A Helpline, a directory of verified services in more than 150 countries: https://www.iasp.info/crisis-centres-helplines/. Availability, channels, and eligibility vary by country, so use the directory to find current local options.

Mental and physical health support

If difficult feelings persist, feel overwhelming, affect daily life, or make you concerned about your safety, seek support from a qualified health professional or trusted local service. A prerecorded AI voice cannot assess risk or respond to your circumstances.

For physical symptoms that are severe, worsening, worrying, or persistent, seek appropriate medical care in your location. Do not use a comfort recording to diagnose an illness or delay urgent assessment.

Using the audio safely

Listen only when it is safe to pause, not while driving or operating equipment. You can keep your eyes open, ignore any prompt, and stop at any time. If a guide increases discomfort, discontinue it and choose the kind of support that fits your situation.
